Glossary

What is Randomised Controlled Trial (RCT)?

An evaluation in which participants are randomly assigned to receive a programme or not, so any difference in outcomes can be attributed to the programme.

Why it matters

It is the most rigorous test of impact, though not always ethical, affordable or necessary.

We apply this in our Monitoring, Evaluation and Indicator Verification practice.

Tell us the decision you are facing.

We will scope the work and recommend the approach that delivers the most value for your budget.
