What is Difference-in-Differences (DiD)?

An evaluation design that compares the change in an outcome over time for a group that received a programme with the change for a comparable group that did not.

Why it matters

It separates a programme's effect from trends that would have happened anyway, using data many institutions already collect.

We apply this in our Monitoring, Evaluation and Indicator Verification practice.

Tell us the decision you are facing.

We will scope the work and recommend the approach that delivers the most value for your budget.
